Slovakia: It’s “Horehronie,” not “Whore Horny” 3
Slovakia hasn’t fared well at Eurovision in the past: it’s never finished higher than 18th. But that bleak record is set to change this year with 22-year old Slovak pop sensation Kristina. Her song Horehronie has the same other-worldy, mystical quality that helped Estonia’s Urban Symphony finish sixth last year. Wiwi can’t speak a lick of Slovak, but Horehronie has been on loop in his head for days. And after a bit of Internet research Wiwi has good news: “Horehronie” in no way refers to a prostitute in heat. It’s actually a region in Slovakia known for its natural beauty. In the video below you’ll see images of Horehronie set to Horehronie. Enjoy!

AH! Thank you for sorting this out. I was so confused by the song because I don’t speak Slovak either and it sounded strange. 12 points to Slovakia! Best song so far this year!!
