Bookies: Azerbaijan Edges Israel to Become Eurovision Favorite 6

All 39 countries have now revealed their participant for Eurovision 2010. The first set of odds released since that milestone reveal that Azerbaijan’s pop princess Safura is the early favorite to win in Oslo. U.K.-based bookies Bet365 have the Drip Drop singer at 5/2 to win, followed by Israel’s Harel Skaat at 5, Norway’s Didrik Solli-Tangen at 9, Germany’s Lena Meyer-Landrut and Armenia’s Eva Rivas at 12. An earlier set of odds, released by bookies William Hill, had ranked Israel just ahead of Azerbaijan. Denmark, ranked third in that previous set of odds, falls to 7th in the aggregate table below.
Odds accurate as of March 21. Wiwi will update these odds every few days. Bookies, from left to right, are: bet365, Boylesports, bwin.com, William Hill, betfair and WBX.
