Germany Surpasses Azerbaijain to Become Bookies’ Eurovision Favorite 11

For the first time since bookies began issuing their 2010 Eurovision odds, Germany’s Lena Meyer-Landrut has become the favorite to take the title in Oslo. A number of betting agencies have the Satellite singer at 7/2. That places her just ahead of Azerbaijan’s Safura who stands at 4. Israel’s Harel Skaat remains in third position. This week’s biggest climbers are Denmark’s Chanee & Tomas N’evergreen singing “In A Moment Like This.” The duo has jumped to fourth position, outpacing Armenia’s Eva Rivas who remains in fourth. Croatia’s Feminnem have fallen out of the top 5 for the first time and now find themselves in sixth position. Meyer-Landrut is also dominating Wiwi’s poll “Who Will Win Eurovision 2010?” Of the 2,500 votes cast in the past two weeks, Germany claims 850 of them (34%). Second-place Armenia can boast only 288 (12%).

Will Germany actually win in Oslo? Can Azerbaijan’s Safura stage a comeback? Will Israel regain his previous glory with the bookies? Check out the latest odds below and let Wiwi know what you think!
