Who Is Eurovision’s Next Top Male Model? Elimination #2 3
In the first 12 days of competition, Wiwi’s readers have cast 1,536 votes to determine who deserves the prestigious title of Eurovision’s Next Top Male Model. Last week, Wiwi sent home two competitors, and this week promises to be even more brutal. It’s time to start the second elimination.
As always, Wiwi will call you out in the order in which you finished this week. He’ll also display the total number of votes you received and the percentage of votes that represents.
First place this week is very special to Wiwi. This young man has endured a lot of stress and turmoil following the tragic death of his country’s president and several members of the political elite. He was leading last week and he continues to lead this week. He is Poland’s Marcin Mrozinski.
The race for second place this was week incredibly close. Only six votes separated our second and third place finishers. They hail from totally different parts of Europe and they prove that beauty has no boundaries. They are Israel’s Harel Skaat and Norway’s Didrik Solli-Tangen:
Fourth place this week goes to a man who has started to challenge our Top 3. In last week’s elimination, he only had 6% of all votes. This week he has nearly 10%. He’s the Iberian sensation fighting to be on top. He is Spain’s Daniel Diges.
Daniel. You look fantastic in your underwear. Congratulations. You’re still in the running to become Eurovison’s Next Top Male Model.
The following contestants finished in fifth to 13th position, and will advance to the next week of competition:
Would Ovi, Elgiazar, Jurgis, Jessy, Gjoko, Michael, Robin and Tomas please step forward. I only have two photos in my hands. And these photos represent the two of you who will still be in the running to become Eurovision’s Next Top Male Model. I will only call two names.
Wiwi is extremely disappointed in the eight of you. Each of you received 9 votes of less. Winning the Eurovision Song Contest requires musical ability, but it also requires star quality. If Wiwi’s readers don’t like the way you look, how can you expect Europe to like your music?
The first man advancing to the final is….Jessy Matador from France.
Jessy, you bring a diversity to this competition that the other contestants can’t. You’re edgy and hip, and your music mixes funk with R&B with calypso. You’re so dynamic and I want you to use that as an inspiration for how you carry yourself. Strike fierce poses. Don’t be afraid to show a little stomach and chest. Wiwi believes in you, but until you start owning your looks, Europe won’t. Congratulations. You’re still in the running to become Eurovison’s Next Top Male Model.
Wiwi really struggled to make this decision. The seven of you have such different looks. Switzerland: you’ve proven to Wiwi that you know how to move with your camp-tastic video “It’s Raining Gold.” But I just can’t get over your ears. Denmark: you’re so tall, lean and athletic that it makes Wiwi think bad thoughts. But you seem really stiff and wooden. Eurovision’s Next Top Male Model needs to be able to mingle with top industry experts and advertising executives. I just don’t trust that you can do that.
So who stays? The man with the most model potential in this bottom group of seven is….Ovi from Romania.
That means the following men have been ELIMINATED this week. You must now return to your apartment, pack your bags and go home. If you don’t leave, Wiwi will call the immigration authorities and you will be deported.
