Since Wiwi launched his poll to determine Who Will Win Eurovision 2010 on March 21, more than 6,500 readers have voted for their favorite contestant. Last week, Germany’s Lena Meyer-Landrut held a commanding lead (30% of all votes), with Armenia (17%), Israel (8%), Azerbaijan (5%) and Serbia (4%) trailing. This week, however, things have changed dramatically.

Turkey’s maNga, who will be singing We Could Be The Same at Eurovision, have moved all the way from seventh to first place. Last week they had just 3% of all votes, but this week they are up to 22%. Their frontman Ferman Akgül? has also moved into second position in Wiwi’s hunt for Eurovision’s Next Top Male Model, perhaps boosting maNga’s popularity with female fans.

Germany’s Lena Meyer-Landrut, still the bookies’ favorite to win, has dropped to second place with Wiwi’s readers. She’s still in a strong position, however, with 19% of all votes.

Close on her heels in third position is Armenia’s Eva Rivas with 13%. The Apricot Stone singer, who bears a strong resemblance to Hollywood beauty Angelina Jolie, remains a favorite of both bookies and Wiwi alike.

Spain’s Daniel Diges has also made impressive gains this week. The Algo Pequeñito singer has moved from 14th position with 2% of the vote to fourth position. He now claims 11%. Like Turkey, Spain has seen impressive gains in Wiwi’s hunt for Eurovision’s Next Top Male Model. He currently leads that poll.
