Eurovision’s Next Top Male Model Update #1: It’s Turkey Vs. Israel 7

The men of Eurovision continue to flash their smiles and flex their muscles in the hope of winning your vote in the race to become Eurovision’s Next Top Male Model. So far, more than 2,400 votes have been cast in the finals. For the moment it appears to be a two-horse race between Turkey’s Ferman Akgul and Israel’s Harel Skaat. Ferman’s dark and brooding look has helped him claim 37% of all votes. Here’s one fan’s video tribute to the Turkish heartthrob:

Israel’s Harel Skaat is hot on his tail (and happens to have a hot tail, too). His toned, boy-next-door look has led him to a 27% stake in all votes. Take a look at Harel’s emotional performance of “Tu Te Reconnaitras” at the Miss Israel pageant. He’s obviously good with his tongues. In the video he sings in French and speaks in English. (He’s singing with Anne-Marie David, a former Eurovision winner for Luxembourg).

Here are the complete standings as of Friday, May 14. Remember, there’s still more than two weeks left to cast your vote!
