Harel Skaat Is Now Officially Gay 13

After years of speculation, Israeli pop star and 2010 Eurovision contestant Harel Skaat has finally come out of the glass closet. (We’ve chosen the word “glass” because we could all see right through it).
The singer, who Wiwi dubbed the sexiest Eurovision contestant ever earlier this year, made the announcement in a documentary aired on Israel’s Channel 2. At one point, Skaat said:
“I am very keen on keeping my private life to myself. Nevertheless, I have nothing to hide. When I have a boyfriend, I will not keep him out of the public eye. God made me in a certain way, which I love and feel complete with.”
Skaat, who placed 14th in Oslo with his song “Milim” (Words), has faced criticism in the past for lacking authenticity and emotion when singing about female lovers. In the official video for “Milim,” Skaat displayed immense aggresion while destroying furniture in the desert. One can only assume he was trying his hardest to make up for some kind of perceived shortcoming…
Wiwi is proud of Harel for coming out and wishes him the best. I suspect this is only going to endear him to his fans even more, even if there are now hundreds of thousands of disappointed females out there.

Being gay is not a bad thing! Come on, all that REALLY matters in life is to be there for each other, to help people, to give love and to make peace, no matter how someone looks like, whether he/she is gay or straight,… I really don’t get it why you don’t like someone just because of the fact that he/she is gay. to ‘Serbia’, i really don’t get why you are so against being gay. And also, fans love harel because of his beautiful and inspiring music and his good personality. I have a question for you… WHY is it that you don’t like people who are gay? Give me ONE good reason, I’m sure you can’t think of one.

I know why Sebia says”it’s not normal to be gay”. I was in Serbia couple years ago on EXIT festival. Majority of Serbs are traditional. They bealive in only one true love. They say it’s shame to be homosexual acording to the Bible or have several sex partners in same time. Just look on YOUTUBE what they did on gay pride in Belgrade. There was blood everywhere on the streets. You can’t say in public that you are gay, if you are in Serbia, cause you can get beat. But on the other side Serbs are pleasent, hospitable. Mostly tall people with very beautifull women!

@Serbia I don’t agree, it’s perfectly normal to be gay, it’s okay to be gay, why do you think that’s not normal? I mean he has to be happy and it’s not your life, but his life! I still like his music!

Serbia, its perfectly normal to be gay. Theres nothing to object to bcoz it doesnt harm anyone or infringe on anyones rights. Personal sensibilities regarding whats normal and abnormal are completly subjective.Personally I think this was a good call. Now he can avoid having his orientation scandalised. I feel bad for all his female fans tho. But if anything this will probably broaden his appeal bcoz not only will gay guys buy his albums now, but even Str8 females will find him significantly more attractive just because he’s unattainable. Its very common for fag-hags to be obsesed with gay guys
