According to her Eurovision biography, 20-year old Anastasiya Vinnikova has always wanted to sing—and she’s never cared where she was or who was listening. During a mass christening at an Orthodox church when she was just four years old, all of the other children sat silently, but Anastasiya kept on singing. “Anastasiya, you will be a singer!” the priest said as he sprinkled her with holy water. As these photos illustrate, Father Gregory blessed her in other ways too.
