On top: Turkey’s Yuksek Sadakat

Another week, and another country takes the lead in our poll to determine who will win Eurovision 2011.

Wiwi’s readers have cast roughly 1,700 votes since April 17, bringing the total number of votes to 4,621. The latest wave of support has carried Turkey’s Yüksek Sadakat to the top. They overcome last week‘s front-runner Emmy from Armenia, and now lead her by 182 votes. Azerbaijan has also made a big move, jumping from sixth position last week to third place today. They more than tripled their number of votes to 440. The Azeri success pushes the U.K.’s Blue into fourth position, and Sweden’s Eric Saade into fifth. In the next tier of countries, we see that defending champion Lena is making impressive gains. She has moved from 13th to ninth. Meanwhile bookies’ favorite Amaury Vassili from France has dropped one position to tenth. Remarkably, San Marino’s Senit remains in last place and has only earned five votes.
