After watching Greece practice in Düsseldorf, I really, really wish the country had sent Nikki Ponte with “Dance Alone” instead.
In “Watch My Dance,” the folk music voiced by Loucas could work on its own. But when combined with the hip-hop failings of Stereo Mike it falls totally flat. It’s so bad that the staging is largely irrelevant: nothing is going to save it. Unless, of course, Stereo Mike falls off the stage and Loucas fills the silence. It’s a real shame, too, because Greece is always one of my favorites. Can we bring back Sakis Rouvas and Kalomira, please? That’s a duet that would work…

I didn’t like the song,until i heard it live in the first semifinal.
The performance was great,but i agree with some persons above me,that Stereo Mike,doesn’t match the type of the song,which is 100% greek zeibekiko.
The person that wrote this article,sounds completely irrelevant trying to compare the songs of Kalomoira and Sakis,with this one,since they have nothing in common.But in the end Eurovision is a nice cute annual fest,so lets just have fun with it.
C’omon people!Support Greece!Many don’t understand that this song combines Zebeikiko which is one of the most beautiful genres of music and rap for a more European style!The lyrics have meaning and Lucas is HOT!Then why be so harsh??VOTE FOR GREECE!:D
For me one of the best greek entries, very expresive for one of the strangest period we have to live here in Greece… Whatever the result be Greece dared to send a song that is important for us, combined the light and the dark…

It is so funny best rehearsal have Norway. Stella can t sing live and you say that Norway rehearsal is one of best rehearsal. Turkey, Albania,Serbia and Lithuania have best rehearsals in first semi final.
One of worst song from Greece from 2001 ( 2002 is worst song in period from 2000 -2011).
We get it: you don’t like people disliking the song.
But honestly, it’s an awful combo. Loukas can be as good as you want (I love his vocals and he’s good on the eyes, so…) but Stereo Mike ruins the song. Sorry, this is a NOT for me.

Excuse me, but imo Greece had the best rehearsal of the whole semi-final along with Norway. This is a shoe-in for the final. The staging looks stunning, Loukas simply owns the stage and his vocal performance can only be called majestic (not to mention his looks). The big drama and the bombast and “maleness” of it all sets it apart form anything that went before.
