The press can’t get enough of Russian hottie Alexey Vorobyov, and it’s clear that the eurovision.tv film crew loves watching him flip his wavy hair back and forth. Alexey has become a front-runner in this year’s competition, but the Russian hasn’t always been so hyped in Eurovision circles.
Vebooboo uncovered Alexey’s 2008 and 2009 attempts to represent Russia at Eurovision. During his first turn he took a traditional Russian song and tried to make it modern. FAIL. And in his second, he sang about how he never promised to be an angel. Let’s just hope he doesn’t get carried away this year and back-flip his way to another broken wrist (video #2)!
