Eurovision 2011 Odds: Amaury Vassili Leads, Jedward Closing In 6

Now that the complete lineup and starting order is known for the Eurovision 2011 final, betting agencies are busy adjusting their odds. Who will win Eurovision 2011? Here’s what the bookies say as of May 13, just hours after the second semi-final.
According to betmakers, the title is France’s to lose. Now that Amaury Vassili’s starting position is relatively late compared to most of the key contenders, its odds have narrowed to 3/2.  But the rambunctious twins from Ireland have closed in on Amaury faster than Chiara on a honey-baked ham.  Theirs odds now range between 5/2 and 5.  Having started out around 40/1 this is a dramatic shift.

Azerbaijan’s El & Nikki are the last key contenders performing on Saturday (in position #19).  As a result, their odds have narrowed  to between 8/1 and 12/1, putting them in third position. Britain’s Blue are right behind them at 12/1, followed by Estonia, Denmark, Sweden and Bosnia all ranging between 15/1 and 28/1. Here are the complete set of odds from four leading agencies.
