The second semi-final of Söngvakeppni Sjónvarpsins, Iceland’s national selection contest, has come to an end. Two contestants with a whole lot of accents above their names advanced.

Regína Ósk Óskarsdóttir, who represented Iceland at Eurovision in 2008, advanced with her song Hjartað brennur (My Heart Burns). She shared the winner’s circle with Simbi og Hrútspungarnir, who sang Hey (which rolls off the tongue a bit easier for those of us down here in England!).

What do y’all think? Would either of these songs do well at Eurovision?

Both are awful.
