National finals and semi-finals take place tonight in Sweden (Melodifestivalen), Norway (Melodi Grand Prix), Malta, Hungary and Lithuania. Here’s where to watch live web streams as the people of Europe move one step closer to choosing contestants for Eurovision 2012!

Norway: Melodi Grand Prix 2012, Third Semi-final (19:55 CET)

Eight semi-finalists will compete for the final three spots in the Norwegian final, which takes place on February 11. You can watch tonight’s semi-final live on NRK1 at 19:55 CET (with the results at 21:25 CET), and via NRK’s official webcast.

Sweden: Melodifestivalen 2012, First Semi-Final (20:00 CET)

The continent’s biggest and glossiest national selection contest kicks off this evening and runs until March 10. You can watch it live at 20:00 CET on SVT1 if you’re in Sweden. Those of us on the outside can watch via SVT’s official webcast.

Contestants tonight include 2002 winners Afro-dite and last year’s third-place finisher The Moniker. Check out our preview and predictions by clicking here. Wiwi will be live-tweeting on his Twitter handle @wiwibloggs.

Lithuania: First Semi-Final (20:00 CET)

Lithuania’s five-part national selection begins this evening. The semi-finals have actually been pre-recorded, but the public will vote live during tonight’s broadcast, and the winners chosen. You can watch the live web stream from 20:00 CET.

Hungary: ‘A Dal’ National Semi- Final (20:15 CET)

The second semifinal in Hungary’s national selection begins tonight at 20.15 CET. Ten more acts will compete for the last four spots in the final. The national final will take place on February 11. Inside Hungary you can watch on m1 and Duna World at 20:15 CET. Those outside of Hungary can choose between m1’s webcast and Duna World’s webcast.

Malta: National Final (20:40 CET)

Last night Malta narrowed the field from 24 to 16 during a nationally televised semi-final. You can review the results here. You’ll be able to watch a live stream on the TVM web site. However, we found this pretty unreliable during the semi-final broadcast. Wiwi suggests watching via the webstream on eurovision.tv.

You can also review the results of our poll to see voters’ favorites going in to tonight’s final.
