So graceful and pure
A smile bathed in light
No matter the distance
A miracle of sight
Though I should have known
I could not turn away
When faced with your beauty
No reasons can stay
As you kiss him
In the moonlight
With heavy words I say
If you love someone
Follow your heart
Cause love comes once
If you’re lucky enough
Though I’ll miss you forever
The hurt will run deep
Only love can set you free
Trust in your dream
Run with no fear
And if you should stumble
Remember I’m near
As a ghost I will walk
And look deep in my soul
I might find another
You give me that hope
So as you kiss him
In the moonlight
With heavy words I say
If you love someone
Follow your heart
Because love comes
If your’e lucky enough
Though I’ll miss you forever
And the hurt will run deep
Only love can set you free
And if you love someone
Follow your heart
Cause love comes once if you’re lucky enough
Though I’ll miss you forever
The hurt will run deep
Love will set you free

The reason we lost is because this song is better at funerals than anywhere else.
E H is quite good but his selection and that of this dirge are surrounded in mystery.
Who decided that this should be our entry anyway?
To criticize Eurovision for being bent and corrupt and not wonder how we ended up with such a guaranteed loser song is very British but a little hypocritical I think.

I was very fortunate to be able to see Enge sing “Love Will Set You Free” his Eurovision song in person. What a beautiful song and very loving words. With that song and his voice there could be no more winning combination! And surely all the love he receives from all over the world will set him free to be the WINNER! We are all there for you, Enge. Best Wishes for the contest and every day. Bobbie

Could this be the words of a father as a daughter spreads her wings and flies the nest? Seems appropriate as Engelbert has past the first flush of youth…
Brings a joy to the sadness of the song
Makes the song feel so much better than the loss of a romantically loved one… a thought for those of us who are no longer full of the joys of youth?

I listened to BBC bright and early, this morning. Heard and watched Enge sing his song, a beautiful one indeed, with a catchy tune, easy to follow, the words are so tender, as all love should be… It will surely be a winner for the UK, and certainly for Engelbert, as no singer today, can put the feelings into the words, and bring the story to life. Only Engelbert has that Magic! Watch out for “Love Will Set You Free”…..in Baku at the Eurovision – 2012 in May! He will do justice to the song, and bring honor and title back to the UK.
