Italy’s Nina Zilli and Britain’s Engelbert Humperdinck have emerged as favorites to win ESC 2012. Bookies currently have Nina (“L’amore è femmina”) in fourth position with her odds between 12 and 16. Humpy Dumpy (“Love Will Set You Free“) follows close behind with odds between 14 and 16. And while they represent this week’s fastest-growing climbers on the odds table, they are still trailing the front-runners. Sweden’s Loreen (“Euphoria“) has watched her odds narrow from 2.5 last week to 2.25 this week at a number of betting agencies. Russia’s Buranvoskiye Babushki (“Party for Everybody“) and Denmark’s Soluna Samay (“Should’ve Known Better“) remain in second and third position, respectively.

Still, last year the favorites were Amaury Vassili (15th) and Getter Jaani (second… to last), so we must always take this with a grain of salt.
