Rumours have swirled for months, and Anouk has always denied them. But this morning the Dutch rock star finally confirmed that she will represent the Netherlands at Eurovision 2013.
Looking slightly bedraggled and framed by IKEA storage units, the 37-year old took to Skype to deliver the news. In the message, which you can watch below, she says some throaty things in Dutch, and then drops a bit of English for the rest of us. “I will represent the Netherlands next year at the Eurosong Festival. So I’m looking forward to that. So share it with your friends, and let’s hope for the best.”
