Adrian Lulgjuraj and Bledar Sejko have won Festivali i Këngës 51, and thereby the right to represent Albania at Eurovision 2013. They’ll be singing “Identitet”.

The duo flavour their rock with a heavy dose of ethnic folk. It’s like Ruslana meets Sinplus, but with a much more dated sound.

This is the first time since 2007 that Albanians have sent contestants with penises to Eurovision. Women have had the honor every year since 2008.

The duo already face a bit of controversy: Fans across Europe have started accusing them of plagiarism.

I was keen to see Kejsi Tola at ESC again, but her song didn’t make an impression on me — especially compared to the others.

My favourite by a good margin was Hersi Matmuja’s performance.
