Alyona Lanskaya may have won the Belarusian national selection with “Rhythm of Love”, but it looks like she’s ditching it in favor of “Solayoh”.

Lanskaya dropped the new number on iTunes on Monday, and it’s expected that BTRC, the Belarusian state broadcaster, will confirm that she will sing it at Eurovision early this week. The new number has Latin flare and even includes the words “cha-cha”. Caliente!

What do you think of this potential new song? Do you prefer it to “Rhythm of Love”?

Boney M, 1974, anyone? Reinterpreted by an EastEnders actress (apologies to non-UK readers). Bangy, clashy and loud. To no good purpose.

Sounds good but Rhythm of Love was much better.

@kai. It’s an early version of the same song by the same writers. That’s not plagiarism, but it does stretch the release date rules.

In terms of whether I prefer it to “Rhythm of Love”, I’d say it’s around the same, both songs still a hit and miss for me.

Oh. Maybe “Rhythm of Love” wasn’t so bad after all. On the plus side, more backing singers.
Never mind, the main thing will be sexy costumes and dancing. And perhaps some ridiculous props.

I’m tired of her and her drama. They should have banned her after last year’s fiasco. #lame
