Wiwi’s readers have cast a total of 9,254 votes in our poll to determine the winner of the second semi-final. If they have it right then Azerbaijan’s Farid Mammadov will win in a landslide with Romania’s Cezar Ouatu finishing a distant second.
The Azerbaijani heartthrob, who is also a front-runner in our search for Eurovision’s Next Top Male Model, earned a whopping 2,851 votes—or 31% of all those cast. Clearly his workout series and amazing rehearsals have made a difference. (Or maybe it was his charming interview on wiwibloggs, or his sizzling shirtless photo?). In any case, we hope that he’s let that dancer out of the glass box!
Romania’s Cezar Ouatu finished more than 800 votes behind Farid. In recent days our take on his first rehearsal has triggered a whole lot of drama on the comments page, but we still love Cezar no matter what y’all think. He totally had chemistry with one of our bloggers.
According to our poll, Malta, Norway, Greece, San Marino, Finland, Switzerland, Israel and Latvia will also advance.
