Eleftheria is back y’all, and this is her most ethnic hit yet. Fear not though, girl is still working her crazy web of extensions and the video is sultry-pout-splattered in true Eleftheria style. In English ‘Teleiosame’ translates as ‘We’re over’, and it’s a suitably sassy song, as Eleftheria makes clear she doesn’t want her man back: ‘You always make excuses, how many lies can you tell?’ she demands. Fierce.

I think the best way to describe it is a Greek Eurovision entry meets house. You’d think the effect would be jarring but it actually works and sounds really contemporary, and has the kind of sound you’d hope future Greek acts will channel at the Contest in coming years (assuming they actually go…). The traditional tinged beats give it a definite Greek feel, but then Eleftheria busts out some fierce moves and some that might even make Kalomira blush. It’s a much more mature sounding song than we’ve heard previously from Eleftheria and hopefully reflects were El-El’s career is headed. ‘Teleiosame’ is short and sweet, like Eleftheria herself: work it girl!
