After the sad news of withdrawal from Eurovision, our ears have been longing for some Serbian music to fill the empty void left by RTS. Luckily for us, Nevena Božovic (or “the blonde one from Moje 3” as some may know her) has come to the rescue with her new single “Znam da nocas gubim te”” which she performed on Serbian TV this week.
This isn’t the first new song Nevena’s offered us since Malmö, her first single “Pogledaj Me” racked up almost one million views on Youtube and was hugely successful. This new offering is certainly a lot more laid back and significantly less shouty. It lives up to our high expectations!
The song even has chilled out jazzy vibes, and Nevena looked beautiful performing the song for the first time. It’s a far cry from the brilliant yet totally crazy Moje 3 performance in May. This new single is a lot more sophisticated, and Nevena’s clearly grown up a lot in the past seven months.
