On February 7 twenty semi-finalists will compete in Malta’s national selection for Eurovision 2014. Only 14 of them will advance to the final on February 8. A professional jury will account for 85.7% of the vote, while televoters will make up the remaining 14.3%.
But you don’t have to be on the sunny island to support your favourite. You can listen to all twenty semi-finalists below and can then vote for your favourite in our poll. You can vote for as many contestants as you’d like, but you can only vote one time. Be sure to click the box next to each singer you want to support before pressing submit.
This poll will close on February 5 at midnight. After you vote let us know who you’re supporting and why in the comments section!

Leading song TAKE ME was written by a fantastic musician and composer (Boris Cezek) who proved last year with the song ‘Tomorrow’ which is made very nice success. ‘Take me’ is also very serious and skillfully done deal, and I think there is a good prospect for the highest ranking in the national selection for the ESC in 2014. At the time when I first heard the version of the song Heartache Tonight (The Eagles) in the arrangements and performed by Boris Cezek & maltese band “Crosswalk” Live at Theatre Unplugged 2011, I was fascinated by the superb orchestration, a… Read more »
With daniel tasta malta have a chance to have a place in the first 5 in the great final. He have a great song and a great voice.
I’d like to see Jessika or Pamela. Daniel has started to grow away from me :L
and Dhani. If you don’t have anything nice to say AT ALL, then don’t comment such garbage.

My 12 Armenian points to Daniel Testa! One Last Ride!
My TOP 5
1. Jessika – Hypnotica
2 .Daniel Testa – One Last Ride
3. Miriam Christine – Safe
4. Ryan Paul Abela – City Lady
5. Deborah C – Until We Meet Again
I think that chance to win have if we have 7/8 from jury and 1/8 from televote only Pamela, Daniel or Miram
I do like FIRELIGHT now I’ve heard it … could do mighty well if selected
awks moment when I’m not a homosexual man and I voted Daniel & Jessika lol
or am I catfish?? 😉
I liked a few others, but can’t remember really cause they blended all together. I’m sure some will be growers.
Glen Vella is on the list of composers for Franklin Calleja’s ballad. It’s not too shabby.
The more typical songs are adequate, I suppose, but hardly worth hearing beyond genre preferences.
The strongest songs appear to be at the fringes this year:
Firelight, with its irresistable Appalachian rhythm and close harmonies.
De Bee, with a Julee Cruise-like tinge of spooky sunshine (that almost no-one will like, alas).
The retro ones are not too bad either.
Extremelly bad songs this year Malta!
Sophie DeBattista! I’d love to see a former Junior Eurovision star in the grown-ups’ Eurovision!!!!!!
I think the Maltese jury do a bad choice this year!
Some ok. Two really bad is Addictive and Ten
Funny !! Daniel Testa first ?? Really ?? Hahahah
Only the swedish teens know how to vote in young artists. I think that there are not any swedish girl here hahahaha.
Serious. My favs are Romina Mano and Fabrizio Faniello. Even that they will not win the ESC 2014. Sorry Maltese people, it’s just a feeling about.
Daniel ofc xD
Um, I’m a straight man and I really like Daniel’s song! Keep voting Daniel!
dhani: you are a loser. dance music is liked by many people, including many people in malta, and jesika and daniel are talented singers. happy christmas, even though you are a miserable man.
PLEASE DON’T CHOOSE JESSIKA OR DANIEL TIESTA those 2 songs are really average boring dance tracks, i’d say really bad songs, too bad the people on wiwibloggs.com has such bad music taste, but i guess most of them are homosexual men who only likes bubblegum pop.
THOSE 2 ARE THE BADDEST ONES OF THEM ALL
So nice that Wiwi fans are still watching gor this site on Christmas!!
Only 3 votes for Miriam Christine? This must become even more!
Davinia and Jessika are my two favourites. However, Davinia should’ve won last year, “Betrayed” was so much better than “Tomorrow”.
1.- Daniel Testa
2.- Jessika
3.- Romina Mamo
🙂
Out of the bunch, Christabelle is my favorite. Lovetricity is catchy, it flows well, and I have a feeling she’s going to be REALLY good live.
I like Hypnotica, however the music between the chorus sounds too abrupt and choppy, it doesn’t have a really set rhythm, which makes it a bit harder to really enjoy.
Davinia’s song is happy and really nice on the ears, sounds a little nasally though.
Don’t send Fabrizio again please haha, you won’t qualify lol.
