When it comes to Eurovision, Azerbaijan is one of Europe’s heavyweights. From second-place finisher Farid Mammadov to 2011 winners Ell & Nikki, Baku knows how to choose its contestant and song.

This Sunday they’ll do it again, when the three finalists Khana Hasanova, Dilara Kazimova and Erkin Osmanli square off in the final of Boyuk Sehne. You don’t have to be in Azerbaijan to let your voice be heard. You can vote in our poll right now.

To help you make your decision, you can listen to each contestant singing two covers from Boyuk Sehne. Then vote in our poll. You can vote for as many contestants as you’d like, but you can only vote ONE time. Be sure to click the name next to each contestant who you want to support. We’ll close this poll on Saturday at 5pm, the day before Sunday’s final.

Does it even matter? No matter who wins, Azerbaijan will find their way into top 5

They may have been able to choose songs but their English speaking abilities are still questionable. And singing in a language that you don’t master? Wow … how coherent artistically and personally. I still think what it would be like to see Azerbaijan being musically honest and low key in Eurovision and being able to shine through that low key presentation and honesty. All they have done so far with “Swedish means” is to desperately scream for Europe to make them centre of attention … and they managed to get that in 2012 … I think one time spoiled brat-behaviour… Read more »

The first girl would do it better in my opinion, although all of them kind a on same level.
Yes, sure, we can expect some quality song ‘from’ Azerbaijan, cause they ready to spend money, loads of it. Yes, you gonna need tons of money when you decided to buy entire production ‘all inclusive’ abroad. In Azerbaijan case its always Sweden, sometimes Greece.
Can’t wait to hear new swedish song.

Definitely Dilara. To be honest, I really hope we aren’t going back to Baku in 2015, but I’m expecting a quality song from Azerbaijan like always.

Dilara or Khana for me. Azerbaijan is one of the countries that best understand the Eurovision Song Contest.

In related news, just heard a snipped of what’s supposed to be Armenia’s entry this year, “You’re Not Alone”…sounds extremely promising. It’s 2010 all over again (Eva Rivas vs Safura)

Azerbaijan sure knows how to “work” Eurovision – in all possible ways. The contestants are pretty good actually.

The standard is decent across the board but Dilara is the strongest singer of the 3.
