This week Margaret Berger releases the third single from her upcoming album, “New Religion.” Entitled Scream, it remains true to the electro-pop style she’s become famous for. But there’s an added bonus. Marge enlisted Melodifestivalen 2014 runner-up Ace Wilder. Darker artwork accompanies this release, underscoring Miss Berger’s continued experimentation.
Since finishing in the Top 5 of the Eurovision Song Contest in 2013, Margaret has enjoyed considerable commercial success with her entry ‘I Feed You My Love’, and the critically acclaimed follow-up single, ‘Human Race’. Late last year, Ultra Records picked her up and will market her to US audiences.
This is electropop without borders: Scream has the potential to catch on in most territories. It’s a moodier version of what Lady Gaga serves up on ArtPop. Beware the chorus: it’s infectious and you’ll be singing it all day.

Margaret is damn awesome. As is this song. And the rest of her songs. Period.
Yeah, I’d like to see her get radio play in the US, so I can finally give an effective rebuttal to my friend who says that Eurovision should be irrelevant to Americans 🙂
I’m excited they are going to try to market her music here in the US. I won’t have to special order CDs from her all the way from Europe. 🙂
There’s not one Margaret Berger song I don’t like, they’re all perfect. “Scream” is no exception. Just amazing, maybe even better than “I Feed You My Love”, not sure though cuz IFYML is absolutely amazing.

She also performed this song during MGP final, and it was truly the best moment of the night.
