Eurovision stars descended on Amsterdam on Saturday, but Hungary’s Kállay-Saunders had good reason to stay away. Since he won A Dal 2014 he has had zero free time. Let’s review his movements.
Last week DR filmed his postcard, and he had an amazing time. He told us about it in this video diary.
It’s good that Kállay-Saunders got to practice his walk: he will be strutting his stuff at an awards ceremony very soon. Shortly after filming the postcard Hungarian VIVA television announced its nominations for the VIVA Comet Award 2014. The list is full of artists who have connections with the Eurovision Song Contest.
Best Male Artist: Kállay-Saunders (ESC 2014), ByeAlex (ESC 2013) and Viktor Király (NF 2012 and 2014)
Best Female Artist: Gigi Radics (NF 2013 and 2014), Heni Dér (NF 2014), Hien (NF 2014), Gabi Tóth (NF 2012) and Laura Cserpes (NF 2013 and 2014)
New Level Empire and Bogi will also square off for the Best New Artist award and ByeAlex is up for the Best Video of the Year award with Nekem Te.
There’s more. The multi-talented Kállay-Saunders will sing the Bruno Mars song in the animated film Rio 2. As you can see he’s not bored at all. He’s busy “Running” all over the place!

My favorite entry for this year, and probably the one I will vote for. The song reminds me of some of Christina Aguilera songs (I’m OK, and Oh Mother). This song has a message, it’s inspiring. Even though I haven’t been through what the song is about, I can feel the pain. Good luck the guy which I always forget the name of! 😀

While everybody is too damn focused on the shallow Mexican soap opera about Conchita and Aram … I’m still keeping my ears and heart to the 2 best songs on the competition: and I just want to best for both Carl Espen and András … two extraordinary songs humbly sung with no distractions or desperate need for mediatic attention. Both songs speak for themselves …
