Adelén Rusillo Steen is going global. Last year’s Melodi Grand Prix runner-up, who is better known as Adelén, will feature on “One Love, One Rhythm: The Official 2014 FIFA World Cup™ Album”.

Her World Cup song “Olé” is one of the songs included on the tracklist, which you can see below. It also features the likes of Ricky Martin, Aviici, Shakira and, of course, the official World Cup song from Pitbull featuring Jennifer Lopez and Claudia Leitte.

The album will be released on 12 May, although you can pre-order it right now.

Love this girl! She’s like a Norwegian Britney Spears. She’s also signed to Simon Fuller. I guess he’s prepping her for an international debut very soon!

I’ve just listened to the World Cup song, and I must say I am disapppointed. Minus the messy shouty “refrain” (which is not even a chorus, for there are no lyrics to it), it sounds like one of thouse J-Lo songs where she remembers she is Hispanic. The lyrics are lame (I am fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese and I can attest to the lameness of whatever is sung in it) and the music sounds OKish but it cannot even be called a song, let alone an “anthem”.
