Patrick: Yesterday when I saw this performance I got a strange feeling. It told me, “This is a winning performance”. What a show! I love the song and I love the passion they have. The vocals were amazing, the staging was fantastic and both looked gorgeous. I know that normally I write longer comments when I love a performance.. but I’m speechless… only one word: WINNER!
Judit: Because of the song I waited for the miracle to happen, and it never did. I am a little disappointed. We know Paula and Ovi, and we love them. But for me “Playing with Fire” was way better than this. At least “Miracle” stuck in my head. The circle piano is very cool but Paula’s high notes aren’t necessary (and the high heels aren’t either — they emphasize that Ovi is shorter). But Romania will be in the final, there are no questions about that.
Bogdan: Guys, you gotta see the hologram! It’s amazing what they came up with, I have never seen this before. Although I did know that there was a hologram involved, it looks so real that I was stunned when Paula vanished from the screen. (Sadly, it is not visible from inside the arena.) Vocally, Paula and Ovi are both perfection. The energy that they share with the audience is very engaging. I think that Romania will do a lot better than many predict, provided that they get a good draw in the Final.

beccaboo 1212 exactly the same arenas that you have counted on, I’m also for the ESC 2015 in romania I suspected had ARENA Nationalã and perhaps new Brasov ARENA
If Romania wins this year, then I could think of a few venues for 2015
1. Mihai Flamaropol Skating Rink (CAPACITY – 10-16,000 depending on the stage design)
2. Sala Polivalent? din Bucuresti (Venue of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2006; CAPACITY – 6,000-ish)
3. Romexpo (CAPACITY – 35-40,000 depending on the stage design)
This wont gonna win but it will do very well in the final…Like or not she has the best voice at Eurovision with a very weak song…the stage its fantastic
It was a handful of gimmicks in conception, held together with a satisfactory dance track and non-stop promotion. I have not read a better suggestion for their act from anyone. There’s nothing behind the gimmicks to rescue — They can add or remove some details, but the basic package either works or it doesn’t.
I am sorry but the big circle piano thing is totally distracting ….
I would really really have a problem with this winning, totally unoriginal David Guetta second hand product ……… Sorry
yea, they should totally ditch the piano. the double-sided piano is classy… but this one on the other hand, is just too gimmicky.
You can all say wotever you like is a great performance with a good song or bad one sh has the best voice on Eurovision simple and i dont give a f..k about anyone what says .simple 🙂
Hm! Seems like they combined (at least?) two rehearsals in the video: one where the wind blows on Paula and one without it. Obviously they performed the song more than once trying different settings, gestures, etc. Good luck, this performance has a lot of potential and chances, especially compared with many other entries/songs/performers.

QUE PENA ESTOY SINTIENDO EN EL ALMA, EL ESCENARIO ES ESPECTACULAR PERO CREO QUE NADIE LO ESTA APROBECHANDO PUES SON PERFORMANCES MUY MEDIOCRES LOS UNICOS QUE MEDIO ME SORPRENDIERON FUERON UKRANIA Y RUSSIA POR CREATIVOS PERO LAS CANCIONES NO ME GUSTAN CREO QUE ARMENIA, NORUEGA Y GRACIA LES ESTAN SIRVIENDO EL PLATO A SUECIA O HUNGRIA QUE DE LAS SEMIFINALES PODRIAN GANAR, SINCERAMENTE ESPERO QUE U,K, O ESPAÑA ARRACEN CON PERFORMANCES INCREIBLES PARA QUE VUELVA EL CONCURSO AL BIG 5.Y SUS GRANDES ESTADIOS. NO METIDOS EN BODEGUITAS COMO ESTE.
It’s good but nothing special. It’s a nice dance song but they hardly move.Paula needs to improve her vocals and stop that thing with the hand.Ovi on the other hand is very very good.Good luck Romania
it s a miracle they win the ESC
ESC 2015 bucharest team miracle vote for the miracle the best show ever.
What did Judith to tell: I like so much the Romanian entry that I have nothing bad to say, so I’ll talk about nothing. Much difference between the two comments… honestly, great show, they could be the winners 🙂
Two words: Bucharest 2015!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The song is fun but I don’t like the staging. The piano adds nothing and the visuals on the LED screen are messy and overdone. Also, what’s with Paula’s weird hand gestures all the time. She should focus more on her vocals because apart from the high note she doesn’t always sing on key and it’s get’s a little screamy
Judit,a very very weak and poor comment.
The circular piano is cool. Other than that I agree with Judit – this is pretty underwhelming…
My predictions for this semi: Israel, Norway, Austria, Finland, Belarus, Switzerland, Greece, Slovenia, Romania. There will be one more, maybe Ireland or Poland.
Patrick give us the Kool-Aid you’re drinking 🙂
Same people said last year about Emmelie Forest and Euphoria in 2012 and they have won 🙂
@ Eugene UK: thanks for the video!
You’re a tough crowd if you thought the vocals weren’t good :).
What annoys me is the fact that they hardly move on the stage! What’s that about?! At least they could have brought some dancers with them, to have some action there! And what about Paula’s hand gestures?! I could tie her hand behind her back right now! Ridiculous!
Fantastic staging though!
the song is awful
The stage looks great on the 8th of may would be even better than this thats for sure 🙂
@TheGed unfortunately you will not see it on the 6th of May. That’s because Paula and OVI are on the 8th of May! 🙂
Romania will defenitly have a fanastic show! Can’t wait to see it on 6th of May! Good luck and bring the contest to Bucharest in 2015!
no video? 🙁
Definitley in top 5….
Sweden,United kingdom,Hungary posibible one of these 3 countrys the winners of Eurvision 2014
Armenia 4th place
Romania Spain 5th or 6th place
Thats my predictions for this year. 🙂
