Way back in March, just days before the final of Melodifestivalen 2014, we asked our readers to name their favourite Sanna Nielsen song from Melodifestivalen. As all y’all know, she entered the contest seven times—yes, seven!—so there were plenty of numbers to choose from. We’ve now counted and verified the results, and are happy to share them with you.

In first place with 53% of the vote is, of course, “Undo”, the song Sanna took to third place at Eurovision just a few weeks ago.

In second place with 21% of the vote is “Empty Room,” which came second at Melodifestivalen in 2008 (before wiwibloggs was even born). She’s certainly not sitting alone with her memories anymore…

In third is “I’m In Love”, which earned 14% of the vote. It came fourth in Melodifestivalen back in 2011, the year that Eric Saade came third in the real Eurovision with “Popular”.

Did you prefer one of her other songs? If so, you’ll want to check out the complete results below.

1. “Undo” (2014): 53.17% (578 votes)
2. “Empty room” (2008): 21.44% (233 votes)
3. “I’m in love” (2011): 14.44% (157 votes)
4. “Vågar du, vågar jag”: (2007) 4.42% (48 votes)
5. “Hela världen för mig”: (2003) 2.85% (31 votes)
6. “Du och jag mot världen”: (2005, duet with Fredrik Kempe) 2.48% (27 votes)
7. “I går, i dag” (2001): 1.2% (13 votes)

Do you agree with our voters that “Undo” was the best Melodifestivalen song from Sanna? Or do you think that “I går, i dag” was the best of them all? Comment below.

And a special note to wiwireader Dhani: Please don’t rage about Helena. 🙂

For me she best song is song from 2005, on second place song from 2007, and on third song from 2014.

I agree: and not because it’s her most recent entry but due to be being out of all 7 her truly best one … a true strong powerful pop ballad instead of all her boring schlagerish tunes that I neved liked for a minute. And let me add this: this is the second time that Fredrik Kempe has done something musically right … since Sarah Dawn Finer’s Moving On. And I tend to hate his dreadful songwriting skills but thank God this man knows out to create good exceptions every now and then.

I loved Sanna’s song. Still very happy that Conchita won, but Sanna should definitely have come in second with Undo. Much better than the song from the Netherlands, IMO.

Ofcourse people will vote for Undo as their favourite as that is her most recent song. just like empty room would have been voted if that had been her esc entry.

Watching the performance of Empty Room, it’s hard to believe the jury picked Charlotte over Sanna in 2008.

Unfortunately I don’t agree with the result, which seems to be more “the newer, the better”. To me I would have seen her singing Hela världen för mig or Empty room in the ESC. Undo and I’m in love are, to me, not as good as the other five she took part with. I also think she sounds better in Swedish than in English.

Undo was definitely her best entry, I’m glad she finally win with that one, also got the place it deserved in Eurovision.
I liked more I’m in Love than Empty Room… but I think it was because of the hilarious video you shared of her singing off tone 😀 I still see it and laugh so hard.

Exactly same Top with mine. Undo is the best with Empty Room and I’m In Love following
