It takes two to tango, but you only need one to go Malaga! That probably doesn’t make sense to you, so let’s explain it bit by bit. Jari Sillanpää sang for Finland in 2004 with “Takes 2 To Tango”, coming 14th out of 22 acts in his semi-final. Funny enough, Ruslana went on to win with the energetic number “Wild Dances”.

Now, Jari is back with “Malagaan”, a club track that channels piña colada and that’s meant to get the crowds all crazy. Unfortunately it’s not getting me crazy at all. Instead it makes me want to vomit in whatever barf-bag the club has. It’s your turn to see what I’m talking about.

This song is cheesy and makes me cringe. The rap during the bridge takes my disgust to a new level, digging the song its own grave. No matter. Jari, one of Finland’s most popular artists, has written another song that will surely get him on the charts (in Finland anyway), and plenty of Finns will be dancing all the way to Malaga.

What do you think? Has “Malagaan” tangoed its way into your brain? Comment below! But before you do, relive Jari at Eurovision…

I keep wondering why you insist in giving extensive details about your private plans and everything Deven. But anyway, at least we’ll rest from them for a few days 😉 Have fun!

Right, this is the last time I will be replying before I head off to Malaga tomorrow morning. I will be back online on the 12th of July. So yeah, this song says it all. Malaga is a really nice place in Spain. It’s very hot. Some of the best places to visit in the Costa del Sol are: 1. Aqualand (Near Malaga Airport) 2. Tivoli World (Not as big as Copenhagen.) 3. The crocodile park (Near Aqualand.) 4. Pinocchio’s Pizzeria (They have the best pizzas in Europe.) 5. Bobby Peru’s Tex Mex (My favourite restaurant in the whole of… Read more »
