During her winner’s press conference at Eurovision 2014, Conchita Wurst made it clear that she would be interested in hosting Eurovision 2015. And earlier this week, in an interview with Eurovision.tv, she narrowed her pitch. “I would love to host the green room, I would love do that. And of course I want to sing every single night.”
We know what Conchita wants. But what do you want for Conchita—and for Eurovision 2015? Do you think that Conchita should host the green room (like Eric Saade did back in Malmö)? Should she host the green room and Eurovision like Lise Rønne did in Copenhagen? Or, like so many past winners, should she not participate in any of the hosting?

Charles – I tend to agree with what uOrated says. However – I don’t disagree with you when you say that many MALE fans are gays, BUT many are straight too! 🙂 I am one of them. Gays are OK for me, but I don’t like how (media and some gays to be honest) some people try to say ESC=gay / for gays etc…. Absolutely. She can string two sentences together, she has the ability to ab lib and has a quick wit.
I say Conchita hosts the greenroom with Kati/Andi as the main hosts.
@UOrated?: It has always been a gay thing … the biggest percentage of supporters are gay … ever since Dana International won this whole thing, the LGBT community has taken over all of this. @UOrated? On the 10th May 2014 Europe spoke by one voice against homophobia, and intoletance. You seemed to have not listened. Her song might not be the best, but the message was. No matter who you are, you sould not let people bring you down, and Rise Like a Pheonix out of the ashes of hatred to become who you want to be. That night I was proud to be a European. THAT makes me worryi..I’m all “pro” gay. But as a straight fan, I hate the fact that some seem to think ESC is some sort of “gay thing”. it is NOT! Lots of fans are straight.

She is a performer first and foremost, having said this if she does the the intro and interval acts that will be enough “focus on me” moments for Conchita …wanting Conchita to host the whole thing is like turning the whole thing into the Conchita Show and not Eurovision … and Conchita has had he sheer of attention … the message is clear and passed … now move on. It makes me sick that people post such nasty things on here. Never mind. I think Conchita should host green room, and go out of her way to talk to the Russian and Belarusian participant. Now, wouldn’t THAT be interesting hahahaha! Can’t wait for Eurovision 2015, to show the East that the West’s view of tolerance and no hatred is where eveything is headed, and makes for a MUCH more enjoyable show. I think Conchita would be perfect in the green room. Hosting the show is hard work. It would be much more fun chatting with the artists. Conchita’s charm & humour is just what the green room needs.

In my humble opinion, Conchita should do the green room (she’s too nice to do much of the biting commentary of great hosts pasts like Petra), and Andi and Kati (who would play off each other nicely) should do the show.
Conchita is the ideal host for the Green Room.
As I stated before, a few times, Conchita should be in the Green Room, or else reporting live from Stephanzplatz or the Rathaus on the night of the final and giving out the Austrian televote results.
Kati Bellowitsch and Andi Knoll should host from the stage.
