The organizers of Junior Eurovision 2014 are keeping a tight lip on this year’s show because they want to wow us and surprise us at every turn. But Smart City Malta, a business park that recently opened in collaboration with Smart City Dubai, has given away a bit of the surprise. Apparently the theme of this year’s postcards will be “Extreme Sports”.

They revealed the news in a Facebook post earlier today. Smart City, which inaugurated its entertainment district in July, features offices, a great-looking Laguna Walk with a synchronised fountain and a selection of restaurants. This is definitely on the ‘To Visit List’ when team Wiwi arrives in Malta this November! Given the tie-in with this year’s postcards, you can bet other JESC fans will make the visit, too.

In the meantime, we’re curious to see how that water-rocket thing works…and have a deep inclination to try it out in Malta! We just hope Federica doesn’t damage her vocals when she’s flying through the air!
