Team Wiwi loves the drama of the opera and now we’re even more excited for our favourite classical past-time, since platinum-record-selling classical group Il Divo have announced several duets with French singing stars for their new album ‘A Musical Affair’.

Leading the pack are France’s Eurovision Song Contest 2001 and 2012 contestants Natasha St-Pier and Anggun.

Though details on the album are strictly under wraps, the classical tone of the album and Il Divo’s past track record suggest both ladies will be lending their lungs to classical tracks and Team Wiwi is super-excited.

They served up a beautiful and restrained ballad when they duetted on ‘Vivre d’amour’ and although they won’t be singing together again on ‘A Musical Affair’ we can’t wait to hear their voices mixed with Il Divo’s on ‘A Musical Affair’.

Anggun has recently been in Bali to perform at the Dreamfields Festival and Natasha St-Pier performed for a third time at Lisieux to a crowd of 1500 people.

Have a look at Il Divo’s flashy ad for ‘A Musical Affair’:

What do you think? Are you excited to hear the French femmes sing outside their comfort zone? Comment below peeps!
