Is Croatia, the very first winner of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, going to return to JESC this November?
We ask beacuse of a mysterious tweet that Executive Supervisor Vladislav Yakovlev published this morning. In it, he talks about enjoying his summer hols in the Croatian coastal city of Umag, which is perhaps best known for hosting a men’s tennis event on its clay courts. But he also adds that he has received some “amazing news”.
Croatian singer Dino Jelusic won the inaugural Junior Eurovision in 2003. Find out what he’s up to by clicking here.

Albania is one of only three countries that has not confirmed its ESC 2015 particpation. I heavily doubt they return to JESC. And in Belgium also RTBF has announced they will not be there.
@Bledar sorry I forgot about Albania, and there is still a possibility for Spain! It feels like I am making it up now…
*Sorry I meant return for the Walloon broadcaster
Let’s see: Azerbaijan and Moldova will almost certainly return, so that brings it up to 17. Then if Croatia return it will be 18. Albania was only supposed to withdraw for one year so they should return this year, so that’s 19. I also heard rumors that the Belgian Flemish broadcaster was no longer interested in the contest, but the Walloon broadcaster wants to debut, so we may have 20 this year!
If Azerbaijan and Moldova participate, we will have 17 acts, and 18 if Croatia return, AND rumours also stated Bosnia and Herzegovina could début, what else could come our way…
Fingers crossed…
I really liked lako je sve and nebo. I hope they come back in both competitions
And if they return to JESC there’s a big chance they may return the the adult version
I really hope Croatia return!
I also hope that they will be singing in Malta. And Vienna as well!!! I really hope that they will return to the contest.
Yay!!! 🙂 Hope Croatia will return!
