On November 12, the FYR Macedonia will stage a showdown in Skopje, as Skopje Fest becomes the country’s national selection for Eurovision 2015. Today MRT, the Macedonian broadcaster, revealed the 20 lucky acts who will take the stage in pyrotechnic glory! Among them are Eurovision alums Tamara Todevska and Vlatko Ilievski.

All y’all should remember Miss Todevska: she is Tijana’s younger sister and served as one of her backing vocalists in Copenhagen! Tamara placed second at the Macedonian national selection in 2007, and then won in 2008. She did well at Eurovision, placing tenth in her semi-final with her song “Let me love you.” In most years that would have been enough to make the grand final. Alas. The jury had the power to send one act through that year, and it chose to put Sweden’s Charlotte Perrelli in the final over Tamara. As she told us in Copenhagen, she can’t even remember what Perrelli sang…

Here’s Tamara working it in Belgrade.

You’ll remember Vlatko from Eurovision 2011, where he wielded a guitar and shared the stage with five funky dancers who clearly moonlight as aerobics instructors.

No matter what song Daniel Kajmakoski will show on Skopje Fest 2014, he will going in Vienna 100%.He is the first winner on X Factor Adria and he is very popular in Macedonia and Ex Yu countries. He is well know for his collaboration with Zeljko Joksimovic (who was his mentor during the X Factor) and their common song Skopje ili Beograd.

Oh, Vlatko. So many hand flaps. So much disappointment.
Team Tamara Todevska (please, please involve Tijana somehow)!

Tamara definitely deserved to qualify in 2008, but I’ve got my eye on Viktorija Loba this year. I love her ethno-dance music and she was the first ever Macedonian entrant in Junior Eurovision in 2003. If “Mi fali nekoj kako tebe” is anything like her song “Pocuvstvuvaj go ritamot” I’d definitely root for her and think she’d have a great chance of winning. I couldn’t care less about Vlatko honestly.
