Conchita Wurst – winner of the Eurovision Song Contest 2014 in Copenhagen – has unveiled the first teaser for the video to her new single ‘Heroes’.
The Austrian songstress, who unveiled ‘Heroes’ earlier this month, appears to be taking a fashion rather than dramatic plot as the theme for the inspiration.
The 10-second clips shows Conchita working a seriously fierce bejewelled editorial look and Team Wiwi loves the intense facial expressions. International magazine covers are calling y’all!
Wurst performed the single live on German-language entertainment show “Wetten Dass” earlier this month and the muted fashion-focused presentation reflects the sneak-peek of the video offered in the teaser.
The Eurovision winner confirmed the full video will premiere on Friday 21st November through her Youtube channel.
Conchita will be busy this weekend. Besides the video premiere, she will also help kick off National Selection season in Malta, as the Mediterranean island picks its act for Vienna 2015. We’re feeling a Rise Like A Phoenix / Heroes medley y’all!
Wurst follows in the footsteps of 2013 winner Emmelie de Forest who premiered her single ‘Rainmaker’ at the Maltese national selection this spring.
