After two acts battled for your votes for over a fortnight, we finally have a new contender to throw in to the mix for Eurovision 2015. Earlier this week Trijntje Oosterhuis debuted her entry “Walk Along” and put herself into contention alongside Malta’s Amber and FYR Macedonia’s Daniel Kajmakoski.

But what of Amber and Daniel’s two-song competition last week? Well, nearly 2,000 of you had your say as to who you preferred and we have the results for you here!

Results: Eurovision 2015, #TeamAmber vs. #TeamDaniel

1. Amber – “Warrior”: 52% (1.009 votes)

2. Daniel Kajmakoski – “Lisja esenski”: 48% (940 votes)

So – Amber managed to come from behind and defeat Daniel in the end, having been behind in our last update! But could the slender margin between both acts mean that it’s the perfect opportunity for Trijntje to steal the spotlight? It’s time to vote in our latest installment…

Eurovision 2015 acts so far…

#TeamAmber: “Warrior”

#TeamDaniel: “Lisja esenski”

#TeamTrijntje: “Walk Along”

So there are your contenders – now you just have to let us know who you’re supporting!

[polldaddy poll=8516113]

As ever, leave a vote in our poll and let us know in the comments just who you’re standing for. The poll will close at the reveal of the next act and song for Eurovision 2015, which is currently set to be Belarus on December 26th. Check back for updates!

“Walk Along” will either not make the final or will win the contest. Every few years a happy, bubbly song with a smiley singer wins 🙂

Malta is a very potential winner for me! It will be on top 5 for sure, but I prefare to be a winner I 2015! Marcedonia is boring! And Netherland always aye aye aye and it sounds little bit boring repetition.

So 1 malta?
2 Netherland
3marcedonia

TRIJNTJE / “TRAINCHA’ … song is catchy.. they should use the visuals …as common linnets.. walk alone …. black …. use clips and use podium ‘road track/ walk alone… I am waiting for the complete picture, A POTENTIAL WINNER!

It sounds like “Rise Like a Phoenix” has had an influence, as these songs have a professional, more conservative pop sound. “Walk along” may cross the line into old-fashioned territory.

“Warrior” doesn’t sound like Eurovision. It actually sounds like music here in the U.S. where I live. That may be a positive – last year the Netherlands came in 2nd with a song that, in my humble opinion, is really boring if you live in the Southern U.S. and hear country music a lot. But for Eurovision it was a novel experience.

My scores:

Malta: B-
Macedonia: C
Netherlands: C+

1: Macedonia
2: Malta
3: The Netherlands

@MTD I agree with you here. If the Macedonian entry was representing Sweden or The Netherlands for example everyone would love it; but if Walk Along represented FYR Macedonia; you would hate it, because people seem to just automatically love the Dutch entries because they’re convinced that they will win because they got two top 10s in a row. Armenia got 5 top 10 in a row 2006-2010 (8,8,4,10,7), and people weren’t all like “Armenia will definitely win ” in 2011.

The Netherlands by far, Malta is ok if it would have a decent singer. Maxedonia is a bit blend.

The Dutch song screams mediocrity and as someone previously stated, Netherlands may be the Mei (Israel 2014) of ESC2015. Sadly.

Interesting though, for you fan girls, if songs are switched, like – your least favorite at the moment is Macedonia (he will re-do his song in English, btw) and Netherlands your fan-fave – if we switch them – the Dutch one becomes Macedonian, and the Macedonian becomes Dutch – you’ll love the Dutch one (Lisja esenski, if) but you’ll hate the Macedonian one (Walk along). That’s how you fan-girls work. Give me a break!

Most probably all three are non qualifiers. Bad songs with not special singers.
Malta – most boring song I have listened in quite some time, nothing similar that bad comes to my mind
Netherlands – they just put musical notes together to fill a 3 minutes song, and that awful and annoying “why aye aye aye” is the cherry on top
Macedonia – a classical ex-Yugoslav ballad with nothing special, very forgettable

Hmm, all songs are really good and should reach the final, but here’s my ranking: 1. Malta 10/12 Great song and vocals. The song is very emotional. With a little voice polishing and great performance, this song could go far.(Prediction: top 10, maybe even top 5) 2. Netherlands 9/12 A catchy, feel-good song with great vocals. However I feel that it could be too similar to other songs to make an amazing impact (prediction 10-15) 3. Macedonia 8/12 The chorus is quite catchy but the intro is too long. Please keep the entry in Macedonian! (prediction: 10-15, if the into… Read more »

Top 3 so far: 1. The Netherlands (12 points) – One of the notable things about this song is the fact that the chorus kicks in around 0:25 and that makes a good impression especially because the melody of the song is something that gives you good vibes and not to mention the fact that the lyrics are ones you can really sing along to. Another plus points if you want a good Eurovision song! 2. Malta (11 points) – Really powerful vocals and the message of the song is just as powerful as the vocals of the singer. Along… Read more »

3. FYR Macedonia: Daniel Kajmakoski – Lisja Esenski 3/10 points ?

My top three is: 1. Netherlands I think Trijntje is the only one who can really make a difference between the single and her live performance. She will be able to get the crowd swinging. Besides that, the song is very catchy and most likely to be a summer hit for example. She has to work on her arm choreography though. And one of the back up vocals should replace the raw voice of Anouk. 2. Malta Song is okay but not very catchy and nothing special either. That beat is solo over, and I doubt if Amber is the… Read more »

@Calvin,

Am starting to think the same. I also get a Stella Mwangi/Mei Feingold feeling from Trijntje’s song. Like one hyped up a lot and a “surprise” when it doesnt qualify. Just my opinion and too early still

Not so, Adam – how could you forget 1975’s “Ding-a Dong”? For me, Warrior sounds much closer to “Not Alone” anyway.
