Over the past few years we’ve staged a number of Eurovision face-offs in our recurring ESC Death Match series. We take people with similarities — sets of brothers, twins, or women who werk their hair in the same way — and then ask you to vote for who you prefer. Well it’s time to re-launch the series for 2015 with our very first duel of the season starring Georgia’s “Warrior” singer Nina Sublatti, and Malta’s “Warrior” singer Amber. They’re singing songs with the same title, but only one can come out on top. Which artist will slay the other? If we locked these two glamazons in a room with only their microphones and some water, who would you want to see come out singing? Let’s look at them one last time before you decide…
Georgia’s Warrior Nina
In her lyrics Nina lets us know who she is and what she’s gonna do : “I’m a fighter, oximated, I’m gonna get up and be..I’m warrior, still stuck in my mind, I’ve been in danger for too long…No no no.” She clearly doesn’t accept the threat from Amber. In a recent interview we asked her what she thinks of Amber’s song and she simply said, “I don’t listen to it.” She’s focused on her music and has her eyes on the prize…

Of course AMBER !!! Her song is dedicated to a girl who lost her battle with cancer and she sings from the heart with full emotions. Nina doesn’t show any emotions just an evil look. Well I’m choosing Amber and Malta for various reasons! Point number 1 Malta’s song was chosen way before the Georgian song, so this makes Amber the real warrior! Point 2, the Maltese lyrics are way better then the Georgian lyrics! What does ‘oximated’ really means? in my opinion malta’s warrior is far better than nina and look nina wants competition while amber wants to have fun with it and that what eurovision is about infact i think nina hates amber because she knows that leaving behind the polls, amber is going so much better than her in the final and even because amber has the reason for who is the song dedicated to, while nina’s warrior has only the meaning to fight and win while in reality she is not energetic enough
If talking about voice quality/versatility it should be Malta “Amber”, voice power is Georgia “Nina”. But honestly I fear to wrote this just honest opinion neither of two I believe they wont pass the final.

I like them both still, but it’s easy for me to like both without having to choose because I’m not allowed to vote seeing as I am an American stalking this competition from the shadows.
Nina’s version has the one thing–above all else–Amber’s does not: THUNDER! Amber’s version is Goth-meets-Beyoncé. When you hear Nina’s version, boomin’ bass and all, one word jumps out at you: CHAAAAARGE!!
Nina sings first. Methinks she will qualify. But when Amber goes on stage 2 days later, people are going to compare her version to Nina’s, and she may lose on that comparison, and lose to the contenders in her semi.

After reading the blog post again and again, I confirm that Amber is the true warrior. I mean come on, Nina doesn’t even listen to Amber’s song because she’s focused on her music, this just shows how in denile she is. I mean grow up you’re not a child! Amber by far has a superior voice and most important she has a heart! Nina you have a fairly good voice but I’m sorry to say this to you: but pack your bags cause Amber is gonna sweep the floor with you. 🙂
I’m mainly holding this against Malta for denying both Rush and Fandango a higher place (yes, I know Rush was 2nd…) in their national final. For shame….

I am from Greece and I like both warriors but I like Malta’s warrior a bit more and its pretty ovbious that half of Nina’s votes are from Georgia which technically will not count in Eurovision
Malta’s song is somewhat typical modern uprising song, fit with Hunger Games and Maze Runner soundtrack. It has it’s moments, although there certainly is more place for originality and establishing itself from the rest of the songs about uprising recently. Georgia’s song is… I don’t know how to put it… BORING! I know that Cyprus’ song can also sound boring at times, and so can France. But if you listen to lyrics, they actually have something to say.
