With only 107 days left until the very first semi-final of the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest host broadcaster ORF isn’t mucking around. The ORF crew are in tiny San Marino to record Michele and Anita‘s postcard for the competition. As in 2013 and 2014, this year’s postcards will feature the artists. In the words of Mélanie René, it’s their time to shine!

ORF have already filmed the first half of San Marino’s postcard. Are we going to see bridges in this year’s postcards across Europe? We’ll have to wait and see!
What can expect from ORF this year with the postcards? Comment below with what you think.

i’m quite intrigue that this is only the 1st half of the postcard. my theory is the they would start on a bridge in san marino ‘cross’ a time-portal and end up on a bridge in vienna.

Sorry, I’ll do the customary mention of “Valentina Monetta” in a San Marino article…with that said:

I hope Valentina appears at ESC! spokesman or whatever. Have they built her statue yet? Make it happen.

I really like the postcards when they’re presenting the singer/country so I’m happy ORF is sticking to that theme!

And I thought something fresh will eventually be presented this year in the “postcard” section. Looking back, I can only recall the postcards from ESC 2008 & 2009.

2010 was bland, 2011 cheese, 2012 re-shots of the same exact thing was presented in 10 postcards or so, 2013 & on were not so fresh (including this year, I suppose).

well, symbolism =/= cheesiness to me. If bridges were meant to be a theme for this years contest then I think it would be cool to somehow put them into postcards. Not to use them all the time throughout the videos, but, like, to show those beautiful and unique pieces of European history at least in one take lasting 2 seconds.
I think that would be less cheesy and cliche than some of the postcards from last year. But I’m an architecture freak so…

I really hope the postcards having nothing to do with bridges as that would increase ESC’s cheese factor by 100%

does San Marino even have a bridge? XD
because I would see the last seconds of the postcard video as a clip of them standing on the most iconic/beautifully designed bridge in their country.

i’m quite sure the postcards are going to be made by the same “company” like the postcards of 2014, which were amazing btw, because this “company” has already worked for several ORF shows like “Die große Chance”.
