Dutch Junior Eurovision star Rachel Treats is growing up — and so is her sound. She recently realesed the video for her latest single ”Holding On”. Wearing a fierce leather jackets and rocking some new blonde hair, she’s embraced electronic dance music with aplomb. It’s great to see JESC stars making the transition to adult music so seamlessly.

Rachel represented The Netherlands at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2011 in Yerevan. She sang the song ”Teenager” and finished second behind Georgia, narrowly missing a second win for her country at the contest.

@Sarmi Then she was 11 and most children don’t watch adult Eurovision in the Netherlands.

I hope she ends up at eurovision. I know in an interview she said she didn’t really watch adult esc thus not being interested but with Netherlands success in the past 2 years I hope she ends up in the Esc stage one day and regarding her song, it’s better than the 9 entries we have so far and probably the song will better than most entries this year. Her songs seem radio friendly and I could hear them on radio stations around Europe so Netherlands, please internally aelect her within the next few years to keep your top 10’s
