After first revealing the acts taking part in Unser Song Fur Österreich a couple weeks ago, German broadcaster NDR have today given out the names of the competing songs. All eight participants, including the wild card act which will be determined in two weeks, have prepared two songs to perform in the final. However, only half of them will be singing both of the songs, as four artists will be eliminated after the first round.
The final of Unser Song für Österreich will take place on March 5.

Really love Faun’s music, but I’m afraid their two songs aren’t the best choices…should have gone with something more upbeat (Mit dem Wind or Walpurgisnacht). Shame, that.

Great songs but I worry we will have a cascada 2.0 issue where 3 minute 30 songs are cut down and sound choppy and rushed…

still rooting for Fahrenhaidt, but it’s a shame they didn’t send “Wildfire” with Emmelie. But “Frozen Silent” is also very good and might as well win the selection and get a top5 at ESC.
I’m sad that Fahrenhaidt won’t compete with Island Of White. Frozen Silence is almost as good as it though, hope it wins!
