Three weeks ago, Latvia kicked off their new national selection, Supernova. It all started with 20 artists, but following some hot, extraordinary and special performances in the preliminary rounds, only four remain. The quartet, as chosen by the jury and Latvian public, will battle it out for the golden ticket to Vienna and the chance to represent Latvia at Eurovision 2015.
Latvians may need to wait a few more days to have their final say, but y’all have already spent the last week casting your votes. And things are looking very interesting. We’ve already counted nearly 2,000 votes – the poll has only been open for a week!

If I have to compare Take Me Down video with Nefelibata – Nefelibata would win. Have you seen the video? It’s original and interesting while Take Me Down is just something like many russian pop star videos.
Can’t wait for Love Injected video, it will be first music video by Aminata.
This is going to be a great year for Latvia.
I like all the 4 songs. My favorite is “Nefelibata”, but I think that “Love Injected” have more chances to get in the top 5.

Aminata’s entry looks like bad joke. Here nothing happens during 3 minutes. If you like when nothing happens, do not watch Eurovision, because this must be interesting show.
@Easpag it’s intense,catchy and emotional. It’s actually pretty impressive for its genre. Oh and let me remind you it got highest points from wiwi jury but if you don’t like it,that’s fine.
MNTHA. Eurovision needs something new and she is really very original. Nobody will forgot her performance. Aminata is great too, but we have so many dark-haired female singers now and for non-Eurovision fans it will be the same performance as Amber or Melanie Rene in the same semi. Latvia must be clever and think about it.
Said this before and will say it again: the WiWi poll results are consistently wrong w/ reality. Whoever the winner of a WiWi poll is, it’s most likely wrong. With that noted, MNTHA and Aminata are most likely to win, those also led the televote this past weekend, comfortably ahead of Markus. I will say Markus has a good song and could represent Latvia but the country (finally) has strong songs.
@Me…Lucy, oh, but I can call it boring, because it is. It doesn’t leave any impact on me, it’s not particularly memorable, and his vocals are slightly lacklustre. Out of the 4 finalists, it’s easily my least favourite.

Markus Riva has the best song unlike the performance BUT that shouldn’t be a problem because he said his team plans to put an effort into his song and staging if he wins. Didn’t you see that video spot ? It’s bigger art than Aminata’s song ! You can agree or not but you can’t say his song is bad or boring because it’s not.

I like Aminata the most but she would not be that high on my list.
I do not like the other three songs at all. ElektroFolk is like Cake to Bake mixed with Igranka, and a a bunch of other unpleasant songs mixed together. Mntha’s song sounds like something from an early 90’s video game and I honestly don’t see how it will work out live. And Markus Riva sounds like he is terrible live even if his song doesnt annoy me as much as the before two.
Hannes, it’s not rigged. Marcus Riva just has a very large fan base out in Belarus and Russia. Fortunately, they’re unable to vote, because picking him would be a very bad choice indeed.
