Daniel Kajmakoski has star power. It’s one of the reasons he won SkopjeFest 2015 — Macedonia’s selection for Eurovision. He’s busy preparing to sing “Lisja esenski” in Vienna, but before then he’s going to chat with wiwibloggs on Skype and we want you to participate. If you have questions for Daniel, please comment below. You can ask him anything — from what it was like to win first edition of X Factor Adria to duetting with Tamara Todevska to his stage plans for Vienna.

My question for Daniel…
When did you first watch Eurovision and what was your favorite song from that year? 🙂
How do you respond to the fact that the song “Never Be Alone’ by Shawn Mendes, which was recently released (after Lisja Esenski, in february 2015) has a striking similarity to “Lisja Esenski”, Macedonia’s entry for this year?
Do u have any experience with fans that u gladly remember? 🙂
When will we get to hear the English version of the song?
Do you have any ideas about how you’d like to portray the song on the stage? ( I think it needs some drama to match the passion you sing with)
What will you do when Macedonia returns to the Finals this year?
Please let your international fans know that you have more music, hopefully in English coming after this year?
1. What are your favorite books?
2. Who gives you the best advice?
3. If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?
To Daniel: what was it like to win Skopje Festival as well as earn the opportunity to respresent your country at Eurovision?
I want to thank you for everything you do for us,and I hope that I will meet you one day. When can we expect your new song? Best regards
At the video he is visiting an archeological museum(I beg your pardon?) where the statues are wearing clothes (maybe it was to cold in the ancient Macedonia) and there are exhibited undecorated clay pots like those sold at many greek marketplaces for five Euro. That is RIDICULOUS.
Dear William Lee Adams. Here in greece we usually call the stars from Macedonia, Attica,Thessaly,Crete,Peloponnese or from any other greek Administrative Division, GREEKS. Some of them are Alexander the Great, Plato, Aristotle, Leonidas (and probably his 300 men),hopefouly you’ve heard about them. The star whom you’re refering to is from the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia and I imagine that the fact that he doesn’t speak the same language with all the previous ‘stars’ i mentioned doesn’t make him their descendant. I recommend you any time soon to read a book about #BasicsInHistory or ask someone who actually graduated the High… Read more »
Is he going to sing Macedonian or English? 😀 <3 #lovehimsomuch
I don’t have any questions for you, but I want to thank you for making your fans, your sunshines so happy and proud of you! I wish you all the best for your career!
I don’t have questions, I just want to thank him for everything what he have done for his fans, and for his country, I wish him all the best, and Macedonia hopes for a good place this year. Good luck Daniel, make us proud again! ?
Are you confident that you will enter the finals of Eurovision even if the song is in Macedonian?
1. Who are your biggest musical influences and which is the last album you’ve bought or listened completely?
2. Are you gonna use the yellow shoes you used at Skopje Festival in Eurovision? (Hint: You should, they look great :D)
Hi Daniel. I heard you will sing in english. Do you plan to sing entirely in english, will we be able to hear some parts in macedonian too ?
Hi Daniel. Maybe it’s too early but I wish you best of luck in May.
Why did you decide to participate in Skopje Fest, was it just for fun or are you actually a fan of eurovision and you wanted to make your dream come true ?
Hey Daniel
your song is amazing but I have two questions about it, the first which is extremely common is will you sing in Macedonian or English? and the 2nd is how far through the editing down are you due to it being over the 3 minuet time limit there is in Eurovision and when will we hear the final version?
Which country’s song are you most looking forward to hearing?
are you planning to make any changes in the song?
Did you listen to the other entries? What is your favourite? Good luck from Spain!
Hi Daniel are you going to be singing in english or macedonian
Considering the fact that you’ll sing in Vienna, your second home (or first, nevertheless 🙂 ), how much of pressure (or the lack there of) you feel?
When we will be watching the video of “Lisja Esenski” and listen to the final, English version of the song?
What inspired you to write Lisja Esenski?
Is ”LISJA ESENSKI” dedicated to a very speacial person from your life? Who?
1. What’s you cocaine? What keeps you hyper and alert?
2. What kind of staging and performance will you delight us with in Vienna? An autumn song for the summer?
3. Alcohol: Do you drink it gay (sweet flavored) or straight (non flavored) or both? I know dude’s definitely sipped on a lil something.
4. What other Eurovision contestants are you worried about, if at all?
5. Tijana (last year’s FYR M representative) give you any tips?
And…
6. Hobbies? Interest?
Have you listened to any of the other acts? Which ones are your favourites?
I love your song Daniel!! How are you preparing for Vienna and are you looking forward to participating in the Eurovision Song Contest?
My question for Daniel: When was the first time you heard of the Eurovision and did you always want to enter the contest ever since?
Your song is amazing (an obvious way to success) and so is your voice (makes it even better) – but I think great staging is the thing that could get you a really good result. How will you stage it?
My question. Have you ever been dreaming about compiting at Eurovision song contest?
My question to Daniel:
Not being a Macedonian speaker, I found an English translation and the song is beautiful. Did you ever consider singing it in English or bilingually?
A second question (if I can xD ) How important do you think Eurovision is to Macedonia?
My question for Daniel:
What inspired you to write the song “Lisja esenski”? Because I found the song quite beautiful and poetic.
What are the lyrics of ‘Lisja Esenski’ about and will there be an english version of the song?
HOW ARE YOU SO HOT AND SEXY?!?!
I want to know whether he and Tamara thought about sending their Christmas duet to SkopjeFest. It’s an amazing song and could win Eurovision.
Do you think that singing in Macedonian could have an impact on the result at eurovision? If yes, rather a positive or a negative one?
Daniel: Did the police investigation after SkopjeFest annoy you in any way? Did it make winning less special?
