Are y’all excited for Romania to pick their Eurovision song? Broadcaster TVR recently announced the 12 names that will compete in Selectia Nationala 2015. There’s a few familiar artists, and also some not-so-familiar ones, but we will see who reigns supreme on March 8. But until then, y’all can get your fix by voting in our poll.
Luminita Anghel might be the most recognizable name to ESC fans, but she faces tough competition from Voltaj and Lara Lee, among others.
You can listen to all 12 acts below. Then vote in our poll. You can vote for as many contestants as you like, but you can only vote ONE time, so be sure to check the box next to every act you want to support before submitting your votes.
Luminita’s song is boring.it’s nothing special.maybe if it was 2003 this song would do well at ESC but in 2015 it’s old fashioned and boring.

I hope my home country will vote for Lara Lee #TeamSuperman! (N° 8) The song is very catchy and powerful and she already participated in X-Factor in Paula Selings team. She has a great voice and she can definitely keep it up with Luminita Anghel! Ovidium is very good, but not a winner at esc (remember Iceland 2007…). Better choice, maybe Turcu. Don’t Like Lumnita Song.

Luminita won’t stand a chance in the Romanian final, I don’t even understand why she bothered… Somebody said it before – her song shoud be retitled “A Million Yawns”. Let’s be honest, as it was the case in the last years, Luminita’s role in the selection will be to provide the mandatory ‘scandal’ and involuntary humor, as she will pull her hair out live on TV in desperation that nobody appreciates her and the masterpiece she sings…

This is the BEST songs compilation on the National Final until here. The songs quality are amazing. The question should be: what songs no deserve be the winner. Because I cant count only 3 of them. I will open the file only with the Romania’s songs in my mp3. I can not decide who deserves hold the Romania flag in Vienna. But, definaltely, Luminita is not my choice.
I agree with adriana_gabriela, “A Million Stars” has “flop” written all over it. Eurovision just doesn’t fall for bad clichés anymore. So Lara Lee all the way. “Superman” is simply the best composition out there and the seconds after the bridge are divine. Don’t do stupid things Romania. On a side note, I didn’t know Rodica Aculova sings “Still Alive” too *just saying*

As an outsider to the Romanian music scene, Lara Lee’s Superman is a winner!! Seems people also like A Million Stars but to me, it’s quite cliche and borin…and also sung with a heavy accent.
“As for Luminita, if it wasn’t Luminita singing that song no one would care about it. Boring and cliché lyrics.” Thank you, D. It is a decent song, but it’s overrated like hell just because it’s Luminita, much like Paula and Ovi last year. Lara Lee, Voltaj and Tudor Turcu are much better choices and we would be dumb not to send any of them.
We were in love is my favourite but Luminita, Voltaj and Cristina are good too. Superman is too overrated, it’s too comercial with stupid and repetitive lyrics. Lara Lee is sort of Margaret Berger 2.0, I’m pretty sure Lara will represent Romania and there will go another year when Romania isn’t even in top 10, at least Cezar Ouatu was original ant talented, but if Superman will get a higher place than It’s My Life…. something is wrong here.
