Over the past month y’all have been voting for your favourite song in Uuden Musiikin Kilpailu (UMK) 2015 – Finland’s selection for Eurovision 2015. Some favourites have been eliminated along the way, but wiwibloggs readers have come up with their clear favourite. After counting over 2,900 votes, boyband Satin Circus have come out on top with 33% of all votes. It looks like you really want them to sing “Crossroads” at Eurovision!
Satin Circus has dominated the poll since we opened it, but Opera Skaala has been catching up ever since people saw their amazing performance in the second heat of the contest. Mother-daughter duo Solju finished in the third place with their song “Hold Your Colours“. Norlan “El Misionario” with “No voy a llorar por ti” and Shava with “Ostarilla” round up the top five.
The bookies’ favourite, punk group Pertti Kurikan Nimipäivät, ended up in sixth place, after finishing next to last before the third heat. Järjestyshäiriö has taken their place at the bottom with 3.55% of all the votes.

No!! Solju or Opera Skaala.
I can’t understand the hype about Crossroads… It just sounds exactly like Kesha’s We R Who We R……….
I wanted Satin Circus to win to begin with, but the live vocals are just so bad. I wouldn’t mind Solju but I’m definitely rooting for Opera Skaala. She brings a great performance and it’s something different which I feel would go well in Vienna.

PKN must win.
Well, that’s surprising! PKN is no longer in the last place. The last few times I checked this poll, PKN frequently occupied the last place but here we are now! PKN at sixth place of this poll which is not bad.
I’m rooting for Solju or PKN at the UMK 2015 finals. 🙂
I haven’t really followed umk but I’ve listened to like 5 or 6 songs and satin circus’ song is so good, I’d be really disappointed if they weren’t in Vienna, however with the exception of Elena and stig, the NFs have been so unpredictable because the favourites just aren’t winning. Will be really interesting.
Hopefully Satin Circus will be able to win or stay close behind PKN in the televote, and the juries go for Satin Circus.
I have never wanted a song to not win this much in my life.
