Eric has to win again!
He’s the best and Måns song is so lame and the other songs aren’t also that good this year!
“Sting” is a good song, it’s different compared to “Popular” and “Manboy” but in a good way, it’s a fresh cool song.
Eric Saade is a good singer and dancer and his performing on stage is great.
He deserves to win and especially the ESC finally!
Eric all the way! You can do it!

Mans’s song is nothing
What people are paying attention to are his staging and his pretty face

It’s gonna be a great final Saturday.
The two songs I really love are :
“Jag ar fri” & “Heroes”.
Sweden, you can’t go wrong with
these two.
Jon Henrik could be the dark horse in Vienna.

By the way, how’s Man’s 6th place start somehow better than Jon Henrik’s in 4th? Some people seem to be implying that in their comments…and I don’t agree. If running order really does matter, then it’s Mariette’s or Eric’s to win.:D

Would LOVE to see Jon Henrik win (my sentimental fave! 🙂 ), but it’s looking more and more like it’ll be Mans going to Vienna. He needs to work on the opening part of the song, which I find rather weak. Will be interesting to see how the international juries vote, especially on what’s looking like the top 3: Mans, Jon and Eric or Mariette.

Now that we have 29 songs and only 11 left, I propose a new poll:

This is just a harmless game. Judging on their ESC histories, known performers, and a personal hunch, which of the remaining 11 countries do you expect to have the best song:

Albania
Armenia
Australia
Austria
Azerbaijan
Israel
Montenegro
Norway
Russia
San Marino
Sweden

You can also debate about the weakest if you wish. Probably, many of the guesses will be wrong.

I like Heroes but I just hope Mans has stopped being a homophobe. If not he and Donatan can go host straight pride together.

I want it to be Dinah Nah or Mariette tbh.

Is it my idea or Mdf’s organisers are desperately trying to support Hasse?

I prefer Mans Zelmerlöw, he fighted in 2007 with Cara Mia but The Ark stole the ticket to Helsinki, in 2009 Malena wins but the real winner is him with Hope and Glory, six year later deserves recover the spirit os the victory, only Eric and Mariette are the big rivals this saturday.

Eric Saade’s song may be slightly catchy but the lyrics are terrible and he’s still using the same generic pop song paired with his boy band choreography. Enough! GO AWAY ERIC!!

Adams

Eric Saade should win because his song is way better than Mans’s. Mans has better choreography, but his song is nothing special, lyrics are just lame. In this boring edition of Eurovision, maybe the worst ever, we need someone to shake things a little bit… Eric Saade has great charisma. Go, Eric! 🙂

Even if Mans said homophobic shit it’s a song contest and his song will be judged accordingly, just like how Conchita was judged and just like how PKN will be judged.

From a Swedish perspective either Måns, Mariette, or Isa will win. Jon Henrik has been falling and was destroyed with his running order, but Dinah Nah also could be a dark horse. I don’t believe any of the others have a chance.

Most are potential winners but Mariette and Jon Henrik are most likely to win. Eric Saade and Isa soul would spit the vote. Linus, Magnus, and Hasse are dark horses. JTR will get average scores if not last place.

All of this depends on who’s watching and voting this year. That voting app is making changes.

@PP

But the final isn’t like the semifinals with two rounds of televote, in the final there’s just one round to vote for your favorite song before the voting of international juries.

Eugene ESC UK

Last year Ace was on first position on itunes chart, and she finished 2nd.
I think she lost her victory, only thanks to second round of televote , voting after international juries. Because many thought that international juries gave her small point like Yohio one year before, and when they saw that she have 7 point more thant Sanna from international jurie, many thought that she would won and televote an many viewers and fun, diden t send many votes like in first round because of that.

If Sweden want to win they only hope for that for me is Mariette.
I don t think so that they can win with Mans.
With Mariette from 1 to 5 in final
With Eric from 4 to 8 in final
With Mans from 5 to 10 in final
With Jessica and Linus from 8 to 12 in final
With Jon from 10 to 15 in final
With rest from list from 15 to 20 in final

Ugh!! Reading some of the comments defending Måns’ (poorly chosen) but still offensive words, I see parts of this community still have a loooong way to evolve.

Hate speech (including homophobic comments) are never defensible even under the “freedom of speech” argument.

My top: 12.- JTR (Just don’t like it) 11.- Jessica (a boring ballad for me) 10.- Magnus ( Nothing to say) 9.- Jon ( It’s sounds good but there’s something that don’t like me at all) 8.- Hasse ( It’s a catchy song) 7.- Eric Saade (Good song but I think popular was better) 6.- Samir & Viktor (after a few times listening I think it’s a catchy song) 5.- Mariette (good song but a little boring for me) 4.- Linus (I like it but not the winner) 3.- Isa (It’s also a good song but no the best) 2.-… Read more »

I would like to see Mans, Jon or Dinah in Vienna, I would be specially delighted if Jon were to win. Anything but Eric is fine though, his song is trash and he can’t sing to save his life. If Mans is indeed a homophobe (I don’t know if he is, I haven’t seen/read his comments) then people should stop excusing his actions. If you state that a person’s sexual preference is unnatural, that is homophobia, you are dehumanizing them, and that’s just as bad as racism or antisemitism. Could someone direct me or give a link to what Mans… Read more »

People, learn by your mistakes: Latvia, Ireland, Finland, Greece, Portugal, Germany… all had different winners than poll winners (I am only glad for Greece in this cases). If you want someone to win, don’t vote them. Vote your least favorite and then your favorite might actually win.

I know this doesn’t have any sense, but neither do most national finals results this year.

To win the contest you have to present something unforgetable, something we have never seen berofe or a modern song. In other words you have to take risks. This is why i think Sweden have to choose JON HENRIK FJÄLLGREN. Mans and Eric are big stars (im big fan of Eric…he should have won in 2011… if the lyrics were better maybe?) but their songs are nothing special.

Dinah Nah’s song is definitely my favorite. So I’d be glad if she, Mariette or Måns won. Isa would also be worthy if Taylor Swift’s “Shake It Off” didn’t exist.
The acts I like the least are Jon Henrik, Hasse, Linus, JTR, Jessica, Samir & Viktor.

Wow, a good set of songs. I have four favourites! Jon (I just love this song!), Mans (a quite modern song and an impressive staging), Eric (a bit dated song but much better than “Popular”, which I just could never stand), Mariette (a unique song). All the same, I hope Jon will win.

No HOMOPHOBIA in the ESC!!! NO To MANS ZELMERLOW!!!
I respect the freedom of speech but people must be responsible for the consequences of their oponions, especially when those opinions are HOMOPHOBIC ( like the case of Mans), racist, xenophobic, sexist etc

Mans is not homophobic ! He just thinks that same-sex sex is “unnatural” nothing else. He’s not one of this guys who say that gays/lesbians are disgusting ! Stop streading sh*t and don’t forget that it is a SONG Contest and not a personality Contest

First of all I acknowledge that I am a fan of Eric Saade. I know that now is the favorite Mans (overrated). “Groupie”, “Building it up”, “Mot mig i Gamla Stan” and “Guld och gröna Skogar” have nothing to do, they will útlimas positions. Dina Nah be in a good position, he will not win, simply because it is not a song for Eurovision. Jon Henrik Fjällgren has raised many expectations, but do not understand, it seems ridiculous not win, the representative of Sweden in Eurovision sing in English, no doubt. ISA … like Dinah, catchy but more is needed,… Read more »

#TeamMariette but I’d be happy with Dinah (or Måns) winning. No idea how Make Me could be staged in Vienna what with live backing vocals and a 6 person maximum.

P.S. I see that someone mentions Mans’s “homophobic comments”. Excuse me, but since when one’s entitled opinion should be your concern? As many others, he, even though understands that there are gay people, doesn’t seen gay sex as natural as having sex with a girl. His opinion, and he doesn’t even killed anybody and you’re exploding. Jeez, get a grip. If someone, anyone, has the opinion that male-female sex is natural, but male-male sex is somehow “unnatural” to them, it’s their idea of nature. Drama-queens much, are you? We’ve all been debating and defending freedom of speech, but apparently, only… Read more »
