We are entering the home stretch of Melodifestivalen 2015 and anticipation is building ahead of the March 14 final. As the contestants slip into their tightest leather pants (Hej Mans!) and get ready to shake their ponytails (Werk Dinah!) we are busy counting votes in our ongoing poll, “Who will win Melodifestivalen 2015”? In the first four days we have counted a total of 2,659 votes. So far it’s a game of men on top, with Måns Zelmerlöw and Eric Saade leading the way. “Heroes” singer Måns currently counts 25% of all votes. That puts him just ahead of “Sting” singer Eric, who has 20%.

But as the fangirls split their love between these two slices of eye candy, can the ladies slip in and cause an upset? Breakout star Mariette has an impressive 14% of all votes, followed by Andra Chansen qualifier Dinah Nah — she of La La La fame.

Jon Henrik — he who is doing it for the Sami people — remains in contention with 8% of the vote.

At the other end of the table we have barnyard stomper Hasse Andersson with 2%. In last place its JTR. The boyband only has 34 votes (or around 1.27%). So basically their family voted.

If you haven’t yet voted, you have until 10:00 CET on Saturday March 14.

What do you think of the results below? Is this Måns’ year? Who would do best at Eurovision?

Yesterday I saw two entries from the Melodifestivalen 2015 line-up for the very first time: Måns Zelmerlöw and Jon Henrik Fjällgren. I haven’t seen any other finalist so far. My comments: Måns Zelmerlöw: Wow, this act is so difficult to catch on camera. But it’s slick and it absolutely works. It’s a real stunner visually, and it adds to the happy, anthemic mood of the song. I saw this first, and was convinced this could win the whole damn thing in Vienna….if it wins. Jon Henrik Fjällgren: And then I saw this very cute sincere Sami-guy with Colombian roots. His… Read more »

Almost all of the songs are amazing (in different ways, and I was impressed by Dinah during Andra Chansen ^_^), but Jon Hendrik is still my favorite, then for brilliant Mariette and stunning Mans 🙂
However, I have a feeling that the Swedish will choose Eric or Mans; if this is really going to happen, I’ll give my wish to Mans, though both of them did really well in their semi-final. Eric did it with passion, heat and power, but I’m crazy for Mans performance with the cute light man 😀

My favorite is Jon Henrik, but I don’t think Swedish audience would send such an alternative and unusual entry. Therefore I hope for Mariette or Måns. Please don’t send Eric.

There are only 4 acts that I want to go to Vienna: Dinah Nah, Mariette, Måns or Jon Henrik.
I think Måns will win though.

Mans or Dinah! Both songs and performences are so perfect! Can’t choose who is better so please Sweden, choose one of them! If one of them will win, I have a new 1st place in my Top! But this year I’m very disappointed from nationial selection! The most of my own country, Moldova, Hungary and Finland! So I have a feeling that Sweden will send Hasse and Norway will send Staysman & Lazz :/

Jessica Anderson has the worst song. So overrated.

What’s wrong with Hasse? Top 10 in Swedish charts? Basically what’s wrong with Swedes. It will be an achive for him to inform his victory and not suffer from a heart attack.

Maybe Mans is the favourite, But I think John Henrik will do better for Sweden. Of course choosing him is a much bigger risk especially with all the vocals that need to be live in the actual contest and the limit of six people that can be on stage. But I think “Jag är fri” will connect much more with the audience. And we need some more non-english songs!

Mans has a great and competent entry but seems to come straight out of the swedish pop factory, from some laboratory shelf where they keep possible eurovision entries.

It should be one of the guys this year. None of the ladies are quite as strong. I’d love for Jon Henrik to go–his song is different, and as a composition is beautiful. But Mans is my second choice for sure. I love Eric’s song as well, but second time participants never do as well, and 3rd place in a lot of Eric to live up to! I’d hate for him to not do as well this time around and stop making music! I really wish we had Midnight Boy and Ellen in the final. They really deserved to be… Read more »

Isa is not Ace Wilder , her song is not good as Ace song . Dinnah and Isa not have any chance to be in TOP 5 with internationa juries.

I look every day on this list. Eric Saade is now on 11th place, but there are two “Stings”! Second “Sting” is on 27th place!

It pains me to see Eric in the finals.

Don’t count out Samir and Viktor. I wouldn’t be surprised if even the international jury threw them a fair number of votes.

For me only with Mariette , Sweden have chance to be in TOP 3 50 %, 100 % for Top 5 or 10.
With Eric from 4 to 8 place
With Mans from 5 to 10 place
With Jon, Jessica, Linus from 10 to 15 place in final

I don’t think Erik Saade is the most Popular in Sweden Melodifestivalen

I think that with interenational juries result wili be
1.Mans
2.Mariette
3.Eric
4.Linus
5.Jessica

With televote
1.Eric
2.Jon
3.Mans
4.Mariette
5.Hasse

It wili be fight between Mans and Eric , if Mans didnt get so much points from juries and we have maybe 10 to 15 points between them, and if Eric wins televote, Jon be on 2nd place, I think Eric wili won like Sanna with maybe 2 to 5 points higher than Mans in scoreboard.

Experts from esctips.com are the most radical haters of Eric Saade in the world. He is most popular participant of Melodifestivalen 2015 on facebook and youtube, but they say in “prediction”, that he has no chance in televoting. This is real meanness.
