We first heard the Czech Republic’s Eurovision comeback song on Tuesday. “Hope Never Dies” by Marta Jandova and Vaclav Noid Barta divided opinions. For some it was just “another boring ballad”, while others deemed it to be “an amazing masterpiece”. However, people’s views on the entry may change with the release of the official music video earlier today. Now you can clearly see the two artists and all their raw emotion. Marta and Vaclav are ready to fight for a place in your heart.

Marta Jandova and Vaclav Noid Barta – “Hope Never Dies” Music Video

The clip shows the duo with some problems. They are seeking a way out, away from pain and darkness. But at the end they find some hope. This lightens their way and they reunite to fight together. It’s powerful stuff. You can literally see the pain and hope in their eyes. Stunning!

Did the video make you shiver? What do y’all think of it? Let us know below!

Now that I’ve seen them, I am not sure they will qualify at all. They look like the cover of a soft porn “romantic” novel.

You know what this song needs? Backing vocals.

It’s still pretty cool. Vaclav’s voice is just awesome. But without more vocal lines it feels a little empty. The point is, though, that this is an easily fixed problem.

I really hate the song and their voices. There’s nothing good that I could possibly say about it.

Eurovision 2008 was good, 2009 was worse, 2010 i 2011 more worse, 2012 was tragic, 2013 was better, 2014 tragic, 2015 – worst shit ever

Is he a bodybuilder? She looks dark enough. They sing a ballad. How can I believe an emotional bodybuilder? 😛

Very good Czech Republic, you have the best ballad this year. It is dark and it has very strong atmosphere. I love Slavic music. I hope for great dark presentation on Vienna stage. Very emotional!

They’re very sincere. I really hope they qualify. Czech Republic is still welcome in Eurovision no matter how they rise or fall in the contest.
