Belarus: Litesound reach new heights with “UFO”

When one has spent 10 successful years in the music industry with highlights that include an appearance at the world’s biggest song contest, and singing the theme tune tor a major global sporting event, what does one do next? Become aliens! Well, that’s the opinion of our favourite Belarussian band.

This video marks Vladimir’s directorial debut, and boy, he is on point! Featuring cameo appearances from members of the Bolshoi Moscow state Circus, UFO, the video toys with the supernatural world of aliens. Also, the video direction including the accent adopted here is North American in flavour.

The song itself isn’t a departure from Litesound’s usual fodder. It’s pop with heavy rock undertones. The visual direction of the video is what drives this song. Without it, it may not even stand out as a single. However, as part of the self-directed, composed, arranged and performed piece, it’s a pretty good effort.
