It takes a big personality to match BBC chat show host Graham Norton. But Petra Mede, the host of Eurovision 2013 in Malmö, was definitely up to the challenge of co-hosting the Eurovision Song Contest’s Greatest Hits alongside Graham. And guess what? She did an amazing, hilarious, fantastic job, helping bring down the Hammersmith Apollo Theatre during the filming on March 31, 2015.
wiwibloggs’s Deban Aderemi caught up with Petra afterwards. She was rightfully thrilled with how the show went. “This was incredible, what an audience!” she says. Petra found it difficult to compare the experience to Malmö — Eurovision was obviously on a different scale — but she was still overflowing: “It’s just as good as Malmö and that means a lot.” Will she make an appearance in Vienna, perhaps with the Swedish delegation or even as a tourist? “I don’t know — I have to check my schedule” she says. At the end, she gives us some lovely attitude for the camera. She’s fun. She’s real. And she’s a real Eurovision fan. We love you, Petra Mede!
Petra and Anke are the best female presenters ever. Both should co-host.
Thanks, guys. Great to see you all together. It sounded like a great show!
